Family Enterprise USA Action Creates Online Resource Tool with Latest Information on Pending State and Federal Legislation Affecting Families of Family-Owned Businesses

— Family Enterprise USA Action, advocates for hardworking families of family-owned businesses, has created a new online “Wealth Tax Resource Center” that monitors and updates all pending state and federal legislation and proposals regarding the growing trend of wealth taxes in the country.

On a weekly basis, the Family Enterprise USA Action “Wealth Tax Resource Center” monitors and updates all current wealth tax proposals, legislation, or ballot measures at the state and federal levels.

The new wealth tax “archive” also collects important articles, research, and media reports on the potentially damaging impact differing wealth tax, or savings penalty tax, proposals will have on family-owned business assets, property, and income.

The “Wealth Tax Resource Center” is a free service and can be accessed by going to: FEUSA Action Wealth Tax Resource Center.

“We’ve created this important resource center to monitor the many fast moving wealth tax bills and proposals we see spreading across the country,” said Tim Schultz, Chief Executive Officer, Family Enterprise USA Action. “Wealth taxes sound appealing on the surface, but the real victims are family-owned businesses and hardworking families who’ve spent a lifetime creating value for their businesses and communities,” Schultz said. “We’re want people to understand we don’t have a taxation problem in government, we have a spending problem.”

According to research, America’s family-owned businesses contribute $7.7 trillion annually to the U.S. gross domestic product, accounting for 83.3 million jobs, or 59 percent of the country’s private workforce.
