“My son wasn’t thinking about budgets, visual effects or whether something was possible to shoot,” Zhou said. “He just imagined a world. As a filmmaker—and as his father—I wanted to see if I could make that world real.”

“The most important thing for me wasn’t that the idea came from AI,” Zhou said. “It came from my son. AI helped me take something he imagined and put that world on the screen.”
