20 units of Hong Kong Fashion Designers to Showcase at Six Prime Locations

Seamlessly Blending Physical Discovery with Instant Shopping, Bringing a New Generation of Design Talent to the World

HONG KONG, Aug. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Clothing Industry Training Authority (CITA) today announced the upcoming launch of "Wear’s HK", a major fashion retail initiative. Running for 14 consecutive days from 1st to 14th September, the event will span six landmark malls and locations in prime districts across Hong Kong, bringing together 20 of the city’s leading and emerging fashion designer brands. Bringing runway design directly to the public and visitors alike, the initiative will create an immersive shopping experience where consumers can see, try on, wear and buy instantly. Wear’s HK is organised by the Clothing Industry Training Authority (CITA) and sponsored by the Creative Industries Development Agency of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as a flagship programme of the Hong Kong Fashion Fest.

"Wear’s HK" is centred on the theme "Strategic Retail Integration for Emerging High-Value Design". The project aims to bring original Hong Kong fashion to local fashionistas, Gen Z, millennials and global consumers.

"Wear’s HK" is a fashion pop-up project that goes beyond retail. It is an innovative platform designed to connect designers with the market. Through this initiative, "Wear’s HK" is committed to creating greater exposure and broader sales channels for local designers, helping these young fashion talents bring their work into Hong Kong’s mainstream market and grow into a proud symbol of the city’s home-grown creative strength.

By building a high-performance pop-up ecosystem and curating premium retail spaces, "Wear’s HK" closely connects Hong Kong designers with local fashionistas, Gen Z, millennials and global consumers, seamlessly blending physical discovery with instant shopping. Guided by three key objectives — driving revenue, expanding markets and nurturing local talent — the initiative enables original Hong Kong design to be tested in authentic commercial settings while opening up a sustainable retail pathway for emerging high-value design.

From shopping mall atriums and department stores to the departures level of an international airport, "Wear’s HK" brings Hong Kong fashion into the everyday routes of residents and travellers, showcasing the many facets of local brands in high-value design, cross-cultural storytelling, sustainable fashion, youth culture and contemporary lifestyle aesthetics.

The event will attract fashion design industry players from all over the world to come to Hong Kong; foster collaboration, innovation and business opportunities; establish a platform for local and international fashion designers and brands and connect with different sectors in the fashion design industry of Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and overseas, thereby consolidating Hong Kong’s position as the East-meets-West centre for international cultural exchange.
