Industry-leading quality and delivery performance recognized by Airbus; facility also achieves Aero Excellence Bronze status
SHANGHAI, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Novelis Inc., a leading sustainable aluminum solutions provider and the world leader in aluminum rolling and recycling, today announced that its Zhenjiang plant in China received Airbus’ Quality Champion award at the 2026 Airbus Supplier Conference in Toulouse, France.
Novelis was the only materials company selected for the award among thousands of Airbus suppliers worldwide. The recognition highlights the Zhenjiang plant’s consistently outstanding performance in quality and delivery.

Bronze status confirms that the Zhenjiang facility meets industry-recognized standards for operational excellence, environmental stewardship and secure digital infrastructure. Novelis’ sister plant in Koblenz, Germany, also achieved Bronze status in February 2026, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to continuous improvement across its global aerospace manufacturing network.
