TAIPEI, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — With the rapid development of AI, edge computing, and intelligent technologies, end devices are placing higher demands on MCU computational performance, real-time response, and system integration capabilities. For next-generation high-performance embedded applications, Artery Technology has launched the AT32F403E/407E series microcontrollers. With a high clock frequency of 320MHz and strong computational performance, the new products meet the requirements of high-compute application scenarios such as servo control, electronic whiteboards, robot joint drives, millimeter-wave radar, HMI, and Edge AI.

Ultra-High 320MHz Clock Frequency, Setting a New Benchmark for Mainstream MCU Performance

The AT32F403E/407E series adopts a more advanced process and is equipped with a Cortex®-M4F core, reaching a maximum clock frequency of 320MHz. Compared with the previous AT32F403A series, which had a maximum clock frequency of 240MHz, the new products achieve further performance leaps and energy-efficiency optimization. Their high computational performance sets a new benchmark for mainstream M4 MCUs, providing more ample CPU headroom for control algorithms, communication protocol stacks, data processing, and multi-tasking applications, while further reducing operating power consumption.

The series offers up to 960KB of Flash and 224KB of SRAM, capable of meeting the needs of complex programs, algorithms, and data processing. It also supports Artery’s sLib Security Library, enabling protection for designated program areas and providing a more secure execution environment for solution providers’ core algorithms and code. In addition, it features an external memory controller (XMC) that supports PSRAM/NOR memory, meeting the needs of complex embedded systems for large-capacity program storage and external data expansion, thereby enhancing system design flexibility.

Enhanced System Peripherals, Expanding Application Boundaries

The AT32F403E/407E series integrates rich peripheral interfaces, including 2 I²C, 3 SPI/I²S, 1 SDIO, 1 USB FS, 2 CAN, 3 USART, and 2 UART, offering high integration and scalability. In addition, the AT32F407E integrates an Ethernet MAC controller compatible with Ethernet, making it especially suitable for IoT applications.

The AT32F403E/407E series is equipped with three 12-bit ADCs, with a maximum sampling rate of 2.5Msps, and supports hardware oversampling. In terms of timing and control, the product provides 12 16-bit general-purpose timers, including 2 motor-control advanced PWM timers and 2 32-bit general-purpose timers, suitable for application scenarios such as industrial automation, motor control, smart devices, and edge computing.

A Refined Development Ecosystem, Accelerating Product Deployment

Centered on the AT32 MCU ecosystem, Artery continues to refine its software and hardware development tools and application support. Building on traditional development boards, SDKs, and software resources, it has successively launched the integrated development environment AT32 IDE, the code generation tool AT32 Workbench, and recently released AT32 AI Studio, AT32 VSCode IDE Extension, and the AT32M412 electrolytic-capacitor-free driver, covering diverse needs from basic development and code configuration to AI application development. By continuously refining its development ecosystem, Artery further lowers the development barrier, improves development efficiency, and helps products move faster from proof of concept to real-world deployment.

AT32F403E/407E supports a supply voltage range of 2.6V to 3.6V and an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, enabling it to adapt to various harsh operating environments. To meet diverse application scenario requirements, the AT32F403E/407E series offers four package options: QFN48, LQFP48, LQFP64, and LQFP100, balancing space and I/O configuration needs across different end products.

From performance breakthroughs to supply assurance, the AT32F403E/407E series further strengthens product competitiveness and builds an independent and controllable supply chain layout, ensuring stable supply and efficient delivery. Currently, development documentation and related technical materials for this series have been fully made available online, sample requests are open simultaneously, and mass production will officially begin soon.
