The Royal Thai Embassy in the United States announced on Facebook that Thailand ranks ninth among 87 countries as the most business-friendly in 2023. The ranking, called Best Countries for Business in 2023, considers factors such as bureaucracy, production costs, corruption, tax environment, and government regulations. Switzerland is ranked as the most business-friendly country, with Luxembourg and Finland following closely behind. On the other hand, Russia is considered the least business-friendly country, along with Iran and Belarus. The top 10 countries for business-friendliness in 2023 include Switzerland, Luxembourg, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Singapore, Panama, Thailand, and New Zealand.
