泰国总理斯雷塔·塔维信将于10月访华

Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin is planning to visit China in October to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and tourism cooperation. This visit comes after his attendance at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where he will have bilateral meetings and deliver a speech. Thailand has been cautioned about the impact of China’s economic slowdown on its own economy, particularly regarding the export sector and revenue from trade and tourism. The revival of Thailand’s economy heavily relies on the recovery of its tourism sector, and closer cooperation with China can help achieve this. Additionally, the visit may aim to strengthen cooperation in other economic and trade fields, such as the digital economy and new-energy vehicles, as China has been a leading source of foreign direct investment in Thailand in sectors such as electronics, electric vehicles, and data centers.
